Our Mission

Our Mission is to be the leader in providing cheap and high quality Nigerian groceries and prepared meals in Greater Toronto Area (GTA) of Ontario, Canada.

Our Story

Founded in Toronto in 2012, we began with a mission to bring authentic Nigerian and African groceries to our community and have since grown into a dynamic food brand, launching a unique grocery-and-restaurant concept in 2020 and expanding downtown in 2024. 

The business is co-founded by husband-and-wife team Kingsley Akhigbe, President & CEO of Akhigbe African Caribbean Food Market Inc. and Nigerian Caterers Ltd., and Rita Kingsley-Akhigbe, President & CEO of Obehimeme Caterers Ltd., united by a passion for culture, quality, and community.
